Review - Devialet 200 - By Stereotimes
T he Devialet 200 (£5,490) (now a part of Devialet’s expert range) and an integrated amp, streamer USB DAC and phono stage all in one - is taken out for review by the very experienced – Stereotimes. The review is highly favourable and introduces the idea of a Devialet 200 owner suffering from “empty rack syndrome” - a need to replace the empty shelves that the Devialet 200 makes possible with more HiFi units. As they say you could upgrade to a Devialet 400 leaving one less empty shelf :-The conclusion on the Devialet 200 is :-

Review - Devialet 200 - Integrated amp and Streamer by Audio Esoterica
T he Devialet 200 comes in at £6,390 but offers an awful lot in the one slim line metal box. For starters there’s a 200 Watts per channel integrated amp offering Devialets ADH amplification a hybrid class A / Class D Devialet proprietary technology. Add to this wireless streaming the USB DAC and even an MM Phono Preamp. Just add speakers and sources. Review of the Devialet Phantom - Wireless Streaming Speaker by DAR
A show report on the Devialet Phantom Speaker which costs £1,390 for the 750 Watt model, and £1,690 for the 3,000 Watt model by DAR. DAR include photos where you can see just how football sized the Devialet Phantom is. The Devialet Phantom contains the same amplification as found in the 120/200 but Devialet have managed to miniaturise the ADH circuitry down to a chip measuring just 1cm by 1cm. DAR admits to being no fan of big amp big speaker HiFi system, so the Devialet Phantom is right up their street. Admitting that their sound quality observations are just from hearing the Devialet Phantom at a show (CES 2015) and not from a full on review, they conclude :-

Is Devialet really better than anything else around an answer to this burning HiFi Enthusiast issues by the Soundstage
H aving asked this question ( US Based ) Soundstage answer it. In the review they get their hands on a Devialet 120 - integrated amp USB DAC and streamer and try it out with SAM (speaker active management) driving the bookshelf Magico S1 speakers. Then without SAM, pair the Devialet 120 with the much larger ( and way more costly than the Devialet 120) Magico Q7 speakers ( not SAM enabled yet ).
