Chord Mojo Makes It Into The Financial Times
T he Financial Times has a how to spend it section and the Chord Mojo has made it into this section. The FT don't relish the time required to fill a portable music player with high quality computer audio but instead want to get a better sound quality from existing MP3 files on a smartphone. They also want to get higher sound levels out of their headphones and do better than just the not loud enough smartphone power.

Review - Chord Mojo vs Arcam irDAC II by What Hi-Fi
T wo DAC reviews in the same click (or tap) from What Hi-Fi as they pair the Chord Mojo vs Arcam irDAC II. The Arcam irDAC II is a distinctly non portable mains powered DAC that includes a headphone amp.

Review - Chord DAVE - USB DAC And Headphone Amp By Hi-Fi News
T he Chord Electronics DAVE USB DAC and Headphone Amp, which can also function as a digital preamp, (yours for £7,995) is reviewed by Hi-Fi News. DAVE stands for Digital to Analogue conversion Veritas in Extremis (or digital to analogue conversion with extreme accuracy) so Hi-Fi News ask the question is DAVE the best USB DAC out there, (DAVE isn't by any means the most expensive currently). Guess they answer that question with a 91 % sound quality score (hadn't previously seen anything above 90 %) an "Outstanding Product" award and a conclusion of :-

Review - Chord Mojo - USB DAC And Headphone Amp By Hi-Fi World
T he £399 Chord Mojo which is both a portable USB DAC is reviewed by Hi-Fi World in a very comprehensive 5 page review. Interestingly Hi-Fi World try out the Mojo as a fixed output DAC at 2 volts into a standard HiFi system and also feeding Quad Elite QMP monoblock power amplifiers as a variable output DAC i.e. a digital pre amp. In both cases this involves splitting the headphone output into a left and right analogue output. (Sure you're not meant to do this and Chord would say that you're defeating the portable design here and maybe jumping the gun a bit in view of further Mojo based products to come !) 5 globes for the Mojo from Hi-Fi world then and a conclusion of :-
