Sonus Faber Launch The SF16 - Wireless Streaming System
L ooking like something out of Start Trek (warp micelle satellite speakers ?) the SF16 is Sonus Faber's new wireless streaming system. In fact the Sf16’s distinctive design is inspired by the Snail, an iconic Sonus faber concept from the early 1980s that similarly incorporated stereo speaker pods on ‘wing’ extensions. Production of the Sf16 will be limited to just 200 per year, the first ones being available in September, priced at around £9,900.

T he Sonos Faber Principia speaker range is a new entry level speaker range from Sonos Faber which includes 5 speakers all pictured. The five speakers are two vented two-way bookshelf models, the Principia 1 and Principia 3. There's then a vented two-way floor standing model - the Principia 5 and a three-way floor standing model the Principia 7. Finally there's the Principia C a sealed two-way centre-channel speaker with a passive radiator. Sonus Faber gets its Mojo back with the Olympica iii
3 -way floor-standing speaker from the Italian walnut aficionados. At £8,750 this is an expensive speaker. It also has a low impedance that won't be easy to drive. However according to Hifi News it's the speaker that proves that Sonus Faber has got its Mojo back.
