The DP-X1 decodes via dual ESS Sabre ES9018K2M DACS and can decode Computer Audio files - PCM up to 384khz and DSD up to DSD256 or quadruple DSD. Built into the DP-X1 is an MQA decoder so the DP-X1 can also decode Meridian’s Master Quality Authenticated format.

Onkyo see the CP-1050 as “punching well above its weight” in terms of sound quality which they’ve achieved via constructing the turntable body from thick, vibration-damping MDF and using a quartz-lock-controlled platter with die-cast aluminium for smooth, precise, and stable rotation.
