ELAC Debut B6

ELAC Launch The Debut B6 - Bookshelf Speakers
T he ELAC Debit B6 bookshelf speakers at £300, are the model up from the well-received Debut B5. The Debut B6 builds on the sound of the B5 by adding extra bass (ELAC quote the lower frequency response figure as 44 HZ) and dynamic range. Both the tweeter and bass driver are custom designed rather than off-the-shelf parts. The woofer uses a woven aramid fibre that offers a superior stiffness-to-weight ratio and damping over common polypropylene or paper cones. The added strength allows more flexibility in design to achieve a smoother, extended frequency response.
