Dynaudio Launches New Contour Speaker Range
T he new Dynaudio Contour loudspeaker series are a pretty radical evolution of the existing Dynaudio Contour range resulting in an all-new, re-thought, re-designed and re-engineered Contour range. The Dynaudio Contour series consists of one stand mounted speaker the compact 20 (pictured left), the medium-sized floor standing 30 (pictured right), and the larger floor standing 60 (pictured centre). There is also the 25C, a dedicated centre channel speaker for home cinema / surround sound systems.

T he Dynaudio Xeo 2 (Yours for £995) – Bookshelf speaker is a wireless (via Bluetooth) 2 way speaker. The Xeo 2 features speaker positioning equalisation to optimise the sound quality, via a simple switch on the Xeo 2. This means that you can position the Xeo 2 near to a wall or away from one and enjoy the same sound quality. The Xeo 2 is also multiroom as many Xeo 2 s can be connected via the Dynaudio Xeo Hub. With a simple button press, the same music can be played, via the Xeo 2's in many rooms.

T he Dynaudio Connect is a wireless streamer that can send Hi-Res Audio, received by either a wired or wireless digital signal, onto Dynaudio active speakers such as the Xeo or Focus XD speakers.

The Dynaudio Connect automatically connects to your home Wi-Fi network and allows you to stream music, in up to 24 bit 192 kHz computer audio resolution, directly from a mobile device, computer or even via the inbuilt Spotify Connect support.

T he Dynaudio Excite X14A is a small 100 Watts per channel 2 way stand mounted / book shelf speaker. The “A” at the end of X14A indicates that it’s an active speaker. The Excite X14A houses two 50 Watt power amps in the speaker, one amp per drive unit. The amps are fed a line level signal by either an RCA input or a balanced XLR input. Volume control is via the volume control on the connected source although there are user adjustable settings on the Excite X14A to customise the sound to the room / listeners preferences.
