T he Beyerdynamic Byron BT wireless in-ear headphones retail for £99 (but are available for less) and are the first wireless Byron headphone. There’s a premium Byron BTA that sits above them. The Byron BT in-ear headphones enables both music and phone calls to be transmitted. This gives you increased flexibility plus Beyerdynamic’s headphones expertise. The use of loss-free Qualcomm aptX codecs ensures top-quality Bluetooth transmission. The acoustic transducers for right and left ear are connected to one another simply by means of a short cable. The earphones can be connected very simply and wirelessly to your mobile device using the Bluetooth connection. Tangled headphone cables are thus avoided. A high-performance rechargeable battery supplies the headsets with energy for up to 7.5 hours. A voice prompt informs you of the current charge level. Any USB port can be used for charging, for example using a smartphone charger or laptop. The appropriate charging cable is included and fully charges the battery in the Byron BT within two hours. The Byron BT headset is equipped with a 3-button remote control and a hands-free microphone for use on Apple and Android devices. All playback functions can therefore be controlled with ease – without having to take the smartphone or tablet from your pocket.

The Byron headset comes with a 3-button remote control and a hands-free microphone. You can use the remote control to pause play back or move on to a different track. You can also adjust the volume on Samsung devices and other Android players. Thanks to the integrated hands-free microphone, not only can the Byron headset be used for listening to music but also for phone calls. Calls can be answered and ended with ease on all popular smartphones. A perfect fit is essential for the best sound quality and listening comfort over long periods of listening. To aid this the Byron headset comes with replaceable silicone ear tips in three sizes. You can replace these small silicone plugs yourself with ease and choose them in a size that fits your ear.

T he Beyerdynamic DTX 350 p is a portable headphone (p in the model name indicates this) which retails for £40. The DTX 350 p has flat cables, which are tangle resistant and mechanically inert to vibrations.
