Review of a First Listen To PS Audio's PerfectWave Memory Player Transport By Hi-Fi Plus
H i-Fi Plus listen to the £2,999 PS Audio PerfectWave Memory Player, PWT for short, and compare it against a Lenovo Windows J River music server and against the £1,500 Auralic Aries digital music bridge. The PerfectWave Memory Player reads CDs and Hi-Res Computer Audio files up to 24 bit 192 kHz burnt onto a DVD into memory then outputs the stream to a DAC.

Interestingly Hi-Fi Plus struggle to tell the difference between the Lenovo J Rivers laptop music server and the PerfectWave Memory Player and find the Auralic Aries better in some areas than the PWT but worse in others so there is no clear winner.
