PMC Twenty5 Speaker Range

Review and Comparison Old vs New of the PMC Twenty5.23 floor standing speakers by Audio-T
A udio-T takes the PMC Twenty5.23 speakers, currently £2,970, out for review and compares them against the old model the Twenty.23. The PMC Twenty5.23 is the first of the 3 floor standers in PMC's new Twenty5 speaker range, which also comprises 5 models. In the Twenty5 speaker range, not only have PMC retained their trade mark ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) port, not surprising as it's a key to their brand, but improved ATL with the new Laminair vent technology. Audio-T comment on the new features and improvements found in the Twenty5.23 vs their predecessor the Twenty.23 and go on to compare sound quality improvements. They conclude :-

So far so good but how do they sound? In a few words - Superb, excellent, outstanding! We noticed a controlled greater deeper bass with a nice smooth top end. Due to the advanced transmission line (ATL) concept with the new Laminair vent technology, these PMC Twenty5 23 rock but not only with rock music. They are a very nice listen.
